As an adult who lives with mild to moderate asthma, I am always concerned about the time I spend with burning candles. Since I am the owner of Moon Glow, I am involved in the testing of our products, and sitting in an office with paraffin and gel candles burning can make breathing a little more difficult at times. After burning my first soy candle for 2 entire days, and experiencing no difficult breathing, I was sold! I knew we had to add this product to our inventory.

In addition to the ease on my lungs, I noticed that the soy candles had a better scent throw. Not only was the fragrance more pleasant coming from the soy candle, the EL soy has a very pleasant odor without fragrance (In my opinion, no other soy we tested had a pleasant natural odor). It makes a wonderful all natural (no dye or fragrance) candle.

I also liked the ease of making candles with soy wax. To experiment I heated the soy candle wax, added color and candle fragrance and poured the soy candle wax into a cold container/mold as quickly as I could pour. No tilting the mold, warming the container. Basically, I did a slop job. I was so impressed that candles came out looking wonderful and required no second pour. These were truly the easiest candles I had ever made!
